I've been using university computers to run applications like ABAQUS, SolidWorks, STAR CCM+, and ANSYS. I will lose access once I'm out of school, but want to have it on my personal computer.The thing is. I have a 2009 Macbook Pro (I know, I know). I got it in 2009 when I was an undeclared major, but went into engineering. I plan to get a new computer in the future to run those applications, but besides that has anyone had success running these software on a Mac? There is an obvious solution, but I wanted to ask for now because money is tight.I currently run LaTeX, Matlab, R, on those smaller programs fine because they are Mac compatible.
