Ctx Monitor Driver Xp
I have a machine here with windows XP SP2 and a 15' CTX S501BA LCD monitor. I have tried 2 different drivers for this monitor but booting XP up in normal mode gives me an out of range message on the monitor and nothing else. I have to boot to VGA mode or SAFE mode.Once in VGA Mode I've tried various resolutions and refresh rates, no problems with any mode as long as the resolution is 640x480. Going above that results in a frequency out of range. Also windows for some reason can't restore the previous display mode.I think XP SP2 is ignoring the horizontal refresh rates given to it by the driver. Any way to prevent it from doing this.
